Hi there yes it was relatively easy in the end, I removed as many things of the block as possible to give me abit more room, then the engine came away from the Bell housing. All the bolts were accessible with a socket and spanner from above making it quite simple to undo. I then left the bellhosuing/geatbox in supported with a stand. Let me know if you want to onow anything else and I'll try my best to help I'm about to try and sart an engine rebuild as the piston rings have shattred.
