  3. heres a pic of my car the pedal box is in front of the skuttle inside the steel box under the bonnet, the servo and cables are coming out of it. i guess its ok once the box is taken off
  4. thanks bill, i didnt build the car so i'm still tweaking bits and bobs as i go. Starting to think it could be a tough job sorting the pedals out. fancy doing mine

    mines with flux atm agreed value 4.5k cost £148 3000miles 2.1 engine has the exclusion of no to from work on it which i didnt read in the beginning

  7. thansk Tim I already moved the seat as far back as it can go without putting a hole in the bulkhead and the steering wheel is ok as it is, it just pedal position is too close to my feet so the only way to fix it is either move the pedals i have or fit a after market box which is not going to be easy i know. i have the whole winter to do it

Has anyone had experience in re-postioning pedal boxes in the 2b? mine is too far back and i would like to move them forward about 2 inches, I know the metal casing that covers the pedals would need some work and thats not much of a worry its more of if i take it all to bits then find i have no chance. Basically i have some very thin seats mounted right back against the bulkhead, and with 32" leg i am way too close and have a hard time with a bent leg touching the steering wheel as i try and engage the clutch. thanks Ed
