  1. Hi James, thanks for info, Yes reading that it looks like 3/8 bsp. There’s a little bit of clearance to wind the threads for an elbow when off the engine providing the threaded part is long enough, will try an elbow fitting first, if not will go for a straight one, the issue with a straight one is the engine breather air directly underneath so would maybe have to modify that. Thanks again John
  2. Hi, i am in the process of upgrading to twin dcoe Webber’s from the single Webber carb on my Robin Hood S7 I have bought a second hand inlet manifold that fits fine but the hose tail that screws into the bottom of the manifold for the coolant hose is missing, I assumed I could use the original out of the standard Sierra/cortina manifold but the threads are too big so I’m trying to find one that is the right size, It’s a minefield trying to find one as the sizes are all so different, some say it’s a BSP fitting others say NPT. All I know is that the hole in the manifold is approx 15mm inside diameter, the hose that fits onto the barbed hosetail is 16mm inside diameter and it needs to be a 90 degree elbow to clear the engine breather, So does anyone know the correct size for the Webber manifold or have a link to somewhere I could buy one please ? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks John
