Had a cracking run out in the Sr2 today to try out the new Clutch master cylinder.. . Looks like the intermitent clutch feel issue I had was definately the cylinder at fault. So managed to have some serious fun today and had a small run in with an Audi RS6 Estate on the way home. Wow can that thing shift...... I was doing er.................lots of Mph on a patch of dual carriageway, when a loud V8 rumble from behind and the familiar LED lights of an Audi left me in his wake..... Managed to catch up with him and we had a bit of fun on several roundabouts. Managed to keep up with him on some twisty bits, but no chance as soon as he put his foot down (was like having a blow dry from the hot exhausts). We had a fair bit of fun for 5-10 miles. My best hope was that he was going to run out of fuel, because that thing sounded thirsty at those rev's. My little 1.8 didn't disgrace Herself though. Even got a big thumbs up from the Audi driver....Never seen an estate that goes and handles quite like that thing does. . Ahh well, heres hoping for some more good weather before she gets put away for the winter. Managed 1300 miles (nothings dropped off yet..) now since IVA in mid August....not too bad
