Mtec Brake Discs Beware

Just got a set and I. M mot impressed ! The cross drilling has gone through some of the webs. Have sent an email asking for a refund or replacement that has been correctly drilled. May be a one off but I doubt it let's see how they respond. As the discs are potentially dangerous / not fit for purpose.

I had these on the bmw for over 12 months with no issues. still going strong . maybe an odd one ?

The pair are drilled badly, thought I'd try them on the 307 before changing the brembo on the v6 @ £280. the mtec are massively cheaper but I guess you get what you pay for

to be honest . ill never have grooved or cross drilled or anything again. plain for me all the way. the noise they make is horrible.

 

ive tried a few brands over the years with no joy.

My cross drilled brembo on the v6 have been there 8 yrs with no issues or noise, I was warping discs weekly before I put then on, only after looking at tinterweb I. M finding stories of noise etc will see if they respond and what they say, but the fact it's through Amazon I should be ok
