Ya, the stalker is a nice looking car. I especially like the one-piece, hinged hood.

 

But, $16.4k for just the kit parts is a bit steep for me.

I think you have done the right thing Scotmac, the Lotus 7 clones should always be in the spirit of Colin Chapmans original plans, light weight = good power to weight and nimble handling.

True (thanks)...but, i was just watching my build video...specifically, the sections on diff-box/rear-end and engine mounting....if that doesn't put a bit of doubt in ya, nothing will!!!

 

But that is a subject for another thread.

Just remember that colin Chapman in his persuit of lightness tried to convince the Race scrutaniers that a sheet of cardboard painted with aluminium paint both sides was an adequate fire wall.
