Asian Sierras

I am in Thailand and Sierras were never sold in Asia.

 

Is there a similar Mazda mdel that has the necessary interchangable bits?

I doubt it as they didn't start sharing bits till very recently as far as i know.

 

Did you ever get Escorts, Capris, Cortinas, Granadas ?

you see the odd imported, clapped out 70's Capri, but really nothing else. Even so they all have been reengined with Toyota, and replacement bits are non-existant.

The UK sierra's were actually called merkur's in the US. ie, do you have merkur xr4ti's??

Sorry, i just looked it up. Merkur's appear to have ONLY been marketed in the states from 84-89.
