Alternator

can any 1 help i have three ford alternators (1 nearly new) and cannot get any of them to fit my 2.0 ford twin cam (catches on my steering shaft series three a) have tried to modify brackets but still no good any help most welcome either in bracket or change of alternator.

Try one of a Daihatsu or a Rascal or something if you want a small one. Should fit, just make up some custom brackets.

Ron,

I made a bracket to move the alternator to the other side of the engine, there are threaded holes in the side of the engine that I used to bolt the bracket on.
