Bonnet And Scuttle

so whats teh best thing to do fix the bonnet to the nose cone then cut the scuttle or cut the scuttle first and fix it on after ? im a little baffled at how big the task is and im quite worried about cutting the scuttle may be a job a bring my dad on in

Fasten the two halves of the bonnet together (not permanently) and tape it in place then tape the nosecone in place then you can decide where you want to cut the bonnet its so much easier to mark it out with all in place I used masking tape and a marker pen to get it where I wanted the cut it does take a little time as the angle changes as you go over the edge and down the side. If you cut it without fitting it first the chances are that the back corners of the bonnet will point backwards.

cheers for popping round its great to know there is some one so close. cant say my mom was so impressed with what she calls another bloody loud car. did you get the picks off ebay ive not seen those for ages i will try hosting some more monday when ive photoed the problem.
