2b Sliding Pillar Bonnet

The 2B that I'm resurrecting has no vents whatsoever in the bonnet.

 

Mitch has seen it and seemed mystified.

 

Anyone seen a 2B with no vents??? or is the bonnet off another model??

I think the subk had no vents in the bonnet

 

in fact having just looked at the old catalog there is a picture of a SubK (green one) with no vents on the front cover

I seem to remember being able to request 'no louvres' in the early 2B bonnets

If thats the case my 2B Skip could be a "2B sub K" and must be unique.

 

Do you think I should advertise it on Antiques Roadshow or Scrapheap Challenge?

Not unique i am afraid, i have an early 2b sliding pillar too, converted to wishbones...

bonnet i just brought has no vents either it allows you to put your own in where needed for larger engines and not to get stuck needing to cut where the lourves are
