Wheel Bearings

Will,

I have the large socket with the 3/4" to 1/2" drive reducer for removing the hub nuts to replace the bearings if you need it. You'll need a long bar for 'cracking' the hub nuts as they are very tight, as Steve in Stockports reply quite rightly states.

The Haynes manual also recommends replacing the hub nuts when they are removed. These hub nuts are also 'handed', but I can't remember which side is left or right handed thread.

Let me know.

Al

The car is rolling again :D :D :D :D

As I'm part of the SS millionaire club and didn't want to break a finger nail I removed the half shaft and took it to my local garage :p :p

Thanks for the offer Al... with number two child on the way I might have use some of my own energy next time as finances are going to be tight very soon.
