Attaching Twin 40s Double Cable To The Throttle Pedal

Like this (see photo) the square block has grub screws to clamp the cables, and is available from Weber agents. you will need to modify the end of your pedal and weld a piece of bar to it instead of the present end.

Don't forget to make a proper adjustable pedal stop to control the amount of pedal movement at full throttle, or you'll bend the shafts in your carbs.

Unless someone has the part number, you'll have to explain just which part you require, try Webcon tel No; 01932 787100 or e-mail sales@webcon.co.uk

Thanks for that Jim, most helpful. Glad you mentioned adding a stop else i probably would have bent the shafts!

Yes, it's a common problem. make sure that the pedal itself hits a stop just before the carbs gets absolute full opening.

Come on Tom

your'e a Hoodie :)

you could make one.

All you need is a bit of block steel and a drill, you could always use a 1"" length of 3mm angle iron with the holes drilled through and either bolt or weld it to the top of the pedal.
