As a kid,when dinosaurs roamed the Earth my father worked for the British Legion and used to go to all the RAF open days.I remember standing on a bank at one show (Biggen Hill-I think)and watching a Lightening do a supersonic pass,but I was looking DOWN at it!!!!! Can't understand why they can't do that any more

Whan i was on my aprenticeship with the MOD/ AQD i went to Brough near Hull on a work experience, the Phantoms were refitted there and taken to Holm on Spalding Moor for flight testing, one of thier tricks was to fly between the hangers with thier after burners on, that made you jump!!!!
