  7. Checking out at the store, the young cashier suggested to the much older lady that she should bring her own grocery bags, because plastic bags are not good for the environment,. The woman apologized to the young girl and explained, "We didn't have this 'green thing' back in my earlier days." The young clerk responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment for future generations." The older lady said that she was right our generation didn't have the "green thing" in its day. The older lady went on toexplain: Back then, we returned milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the…

Hi all, I have been listening to a lot of music of late & after several evenings keep turning up the same old records of my youth. ( wax cylinders) Hope you will join me in composing a music list for us all to enjoy in future evenings in. Please post a record of choice -- WITH A COLOUR IN THE TITLE -- twenty colours should make an hour of listening Just one suggestion per reply please, to spread the selection as wide as possible. Looking forward to listening to other records which probably would not be on my personal play list. Regards to all.

Exceptional service from these guys. Cheap and speedy delivery even though they're from another country (Wales 😁) I chose my battery by size but still got it wrong. They picked it back up when they delivered the new one and only charged half the cost as a gesture of good will. A very efficient and fast service. https://www.tayna.co.uk/

I'm shopping around for a used tin top. I've seen a used Kuga at Evans Halshaw and wonder if their extended warrany is worth paying £450 for three years cover?

Just a week ago I was working in the garden in + 10*C then the "terrible" snow storm arrived , 4" on our patch & 8" at Basingstoke just up the road. It snowed 'til late Friday then the temperature dropped to -5*C. On Saturday we adopted our other form of transport. Great fun but exhausting work trudging back to the top, managed to get several runs from workshop to pond edge on both Saturday & Sunday. Monday comes the rain & by Tuesday it's very mild & thick fog --- just right for Florin's MOT ( passed no advisories ) changed to more rain on way home. Today we are back to =10*C & sunshine, all the snow has gone & the snowdrops are in fu…

I’m after a tool chest at a fair price that is fair quality. Not looking to spend snap on money, I don’t feel they are worth the price anyway. I’d say upto £500 for a roll along with a middle and top chest. Halford’s have a set reduced from £1050 to £479 this week. Any other suggestions or ideas.

I've been given a Red Letter Day £100 voucher. I fancy a Super Car track day. Anybody got a recomendation? I ask because I went on a Ferrari track day and it was disappointing. it was at Teessdide Autodrome. It's only a go kart track so I could not really enjoy the cars performance.
