Hi,

Just received my date for SVA @ Glasgow 27.03.07. Do you need a cover for the spare wheel? Can't go without as I've got screwed rod coming out of back panel to hold wheel in place.

Fingers crossed.......Andy

I just fitted a disc of hardboard to cover the spokes of the wheel (Nottingham) :o

Held on from behind.

As Enforcer has pointed out I beleive there have been failures on the tread of the tyre.

If in doubt leave it off BUT dont have the bolt sticking out of the back panel either

hi andy

in my experience of bishopbrigs (lots of common sence)your spare wheel wont be a problem.

unless you have an edge they want to show you,the balls you wont even meet :D

i was told on my sva the tyre valve could fail, so i fitted a ply wood cover up to the rim and a nut cover for the center bolt as well
