Hi

Has anyone got a SVA pad for the mountney steering wheel and a cover for the spare wheel so I can get my Super Spec through SVA?

If you have (and I'm guessing you don't use it anymore!) I would like to buy it for my SVA - hopefully very soon now.

Regards

Richard

hi richard

I know this wont help but I have just had my Mountney pass without a pad.

The examiner says he waas surprised but hte radiusses were correct. I picked up my kit end of 2004 so if you kit was collected after that then maybe you willnot need the steering pad

Hi Richard,

I have a Mountey Pad I borrowed off 'Turbo Dave' for my SVA, you can borrow this if you want it? (and just send it on to whoever needs it next!)

Cheers,

Dan

for the spare wheel cover, i used a ply wood disk that covered the rim , thats all you need to do to , put a nut cover on to the bolt thing you use to hold the wheel and disk on, mine passed OK, had to use a pad on my mounty to pass

i took mine through SVA last year without a pad and passed ok. The only thing i changes was to replace the Phillips cross head bolts supplied with the Mountney Wheel with dome head bolts and these were fine by Derby test Station.

Thanks for the offer of the pad Dan, I've PM'd the details.

I'll be making a plywood cover for the spare wheel this weekend then!!

Thanks for the help.

Richard
