What would you do if you were preety sure that a car advertised on a club website by a member, had some issues with emmissions for it's first MOT?

If i had not followed earlier threads on other sites i may not have been aware and may have decided to buy.

I am not a clubsite policeman and we all know about buyer beware but this could be expensive, i.e. engine change, cat, fuel injection + management.

Perhaps a PM asking about the emmissions issue?

Not sure how to proceed without looking like a busybody.
