Centre Pad

Hello All

I'm afraid I need help again!!!!!!!! (I Know I am a pest)

 

I'm hoping to have my superspec on the road by August, but I need a centre pad for the Mountney 11" steering wheel to get it through the SVA, does anyone know where I can get one from? or has anyone who has past thier SVA got one they can sell me?

Hi, I made my own from a piece of foam covered in vinyl. The SVA examiner "supposed that it was ok" but would have like a more "production car" like method to fix it to the wheel.

i tried to get one before my sva and indeed ordered one from Mountney but never came.

 

As i did not expect to pass first time took with no pad but changed to button head fixing bolts. inspector had a look and was happy and passed it as OK.

 

i know others have had a fail on this point so if you cant get one try Nicko's fix or give it a go without one you might get through.
