Movie Software

[Big Jim]

OK, on our recent trip to france, I had bought a "Helmet cam" and stuck it on the dash of the Hood to "tape" some footage. some of it's OK, some of it's crap, but I want to play about and edit it, even putting the good bits into a continuous movie.

so........I need some simple software that will allow me to do it.

We've looked at Adobe Premier, but it throws up the movie clips as "incorrect format" (They are in AVI format I believe)

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction of some free software on the internet that'll work, or tuition on how to change the format into something that premier will play with.

No me neither! I'm begining to think that there's a problem with the PC, will get "numb-nuts" to check it, if he ever gets out of bed!

 

On my messages, it shows [block] after everyones name as well, and I know that I've not done anything there!

Go For the Windows Movie Maker. I've used this several times and it's very good for a basic package. And when your finished you have so many options as to how you want to save it. I.e for the web, dvd, to send in an email.

 

Well worth a try. After all it's free.
