306 Cabriolet Boot Light

My mums got a 306 cabriolet and it has got an led high level brake light in the boot lid thats stopped working, i think the leds have actually blown. Does anyone know how to change these as it looks like even a hoodies night mare that will involve alot of head scratching!

Very rare for all LED's to go at once, check fuses and check the cables through the hinges and panels, on my Galaxy they had shorted where they bend a lot

In general the LEDs have a long life expectancy.

If they've all gone out I'd suspect a wiring or contact fault.

I'd bet Mr Peugeot would want a goodly price for a new one

I will have another check of the connections, a few leds had already died and weve had BIG electrical problems with the car in the past so i wouldnt be suprised if they are all blown.

I cant stand the world peugeot at the moment as im having alot of trouble over warranty work with my 206 at the moment!

It was just a loose connection but a couple leds are dead, does anyone know how to remove the unit to replace the afected leds?
