Cellulose Paint

Bobson needs a new paint job. However, I have just found out that after this year Cellulose paint will be illegal to sell unless it is to a licensed user and even then it will be in very short supply. Currently the usual stockists are running down their supplies so the clolour choices are limited to say the least.

 

I asked about the water based paints and to make the paint go off you need a flow of air over the paint. If I do that in my garage the paint will have a sandpaper finish. so my question is.......

 

.Does anybody know of a supplier who still has a comprehensive supply of Cellulose paints and thinners.

Hi Tim , Try Auto Paint (St Helens) www.auto-paint.co.uk 01744 818102 , I got some paint and thinners from them a couple of months ago and they made up what i requested via a paint code .

I don't know if they do mail order, but Wigan car paints, Pemberton , Wigan are pretty good at this kind of thing. They often stock cheap end of line/cosmetic damage products so sounds up their street. HTH, Brian
