I have used a three core mini radiator and a fan off a Fiat Panda (or some crappy little Fiat anyway). Fits a treat and leaves loads of room for fitting other things like the coil and washer bottle.

 

Haven't tried it yet but I understand loads of other people have an it works fine. Other people have used radiators off more modern cars with a fan switch built in. This is a great idea as its saves hassle (and cost) of fitting an in-line fan switch. A Polo radiator might fit.
