Ive got a s7, it was originally purchased in 1990 at the castle combe kit car show, but wasnt built until around 1995 ( or atleast registered) basically its kent powered, ford box but the rear axle and front running gear is all triumph, hav i bought into a bad thing or is this car still respected?? I have been looking into changing the rear diff but triumph parts are hard to get and £££ compared with ford, anybody converted one to ford rear axle???

.... cosmettically the car is sound, ive spent alot of time refitting the interior and rebuilding the engine but its getting a bit irritating that NOBODY!!! else seems to have one of these!?

Any comment appreciated

You might find joining one of the many Triumph clubs gets you some very useful info on specialist spares. Triumph Sports Six Club TSSC covers all cars these days, even has a section for Triumph based specials and kitcars, their magazine has loads of suppliers in and the website lists almost a hundred sources for spares.

As for the triumph based cars they are not so common being early in the developement cycle. But a Hood is great whatever model and its the best club going.
