Fuel Tank

Hello,

 

Am I right in thinking that all I need is a fuel tank, some fuel hose, mechanical pump and a sender unit for my fueling system?? And of course me engine.

 

Where can I get a good cheap fuel tank from, RH won't have any til the new year, their machine broke, tiger racing is £100, and the plastic tank man isn't fabricating any at the mo due to work!!

 

Also when running brake lines and fuel hose down the inside of the tunnel what have people used to fasten them down? Are Stainless snap strap tie wraps from BGC motorsport OK?

For the fuel and brake lines down the tunnel, a lot of people have used plastic P-Clips.

 

The cheapest place I've seen them is Maplin, where you can get them in various sizes, in a bag of 100 for a couple of quid.

 

Sorry, can't help with the tank business, but don't forget the feed to your petrol guage.
