just in from the garage fitting the lecky one into the new car.

Hey guys,

 

The previous builder put the handbrake on top of the tunnel in between the two seats. The end of the lever is protuding between the two seats, is this OK for the SVA? My SVA is tomorrow so I'm going to find out anyway but just wanted to be prepared with an answer?

might need a bit of self amalgamating tape on any radius's though....

The SVA inspectors boss was critical of mine but the inspector thought it was unlikely ' to take my eye out in a colision! '

The tester wasn't keen on the position and said it may give him some issues when he needed to test it. As it was when it came to the hand brake test he simply sat on the side of the car and yanked it on!
