Lightweight Sale

Hi all,

I am very seriously contemplating selling my RH lightweight.

I have used it very little this year, in fact only about 4 outings, and i have just SORN it again!

I wanted to gauge the interest on here (if any) first, while i continue to ponder over it, although it is highly likely that it will go, if not this year than early next.

Please contact for any questions

Cheers

Simon

Ha Ha,

Something like that Graham.

Yes i know it is pretty unique, and yes i do love it, and yes fairly cheap to run, but it does seem a shame to see it sitting in the garage all the time, as these days i seem to be doing other things, and we had a crappy summer!

I think i need a new challenge!

But it all depends if anyone wants to buy it!!!!

how much are you looking at getting for it?

I am not sure what the market rate is for the first sva'd lightweight!

I have a figure in mind, but it is other people to decide in some respects i guess......make me an offer!

Graham,

Well, a lot of 2Bs go for £4500 to £5000. But the Lightweight is better-looking, lighter and faster,

so add a decent premium on to that ;)

PS My 300th post :drinks:

yeah thats right the lightweight is a cracking car ;)

the lightweight is a better proportioned car than its forbears it does need some amount of modification to get it to a state where its a usable entity, i as you appreciate love the lightweight .

i have some experiance with regard to this car and if modded can be a serious contender to both westfield and the cateringvan .

the prob is that the development is in the hands of the builders not the factory .

we dont have the resorses to develop the car as do the major factories.

so its going to be slower and less effective immediately.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic, given some of the controversy over SVA ?!!

But I think it is a great car, once you've got over that hurdle and on to the road.

Not that mine is on the road yet, but I can see the potential :D :D
