I'm interested, but what kind of price are you thinking for a bulk buy as it seems just as cheap to buy them straight off ebay?

cheers

If you make a group buy and reach 5 or more pieces, then i can offer them for 70GBP each, free shipping.

Honestly this is a great offer and don't forget that you don't pay anything for shipping, if you are inside Europe or UK.

Just let me know! ;)

How do you mount them to the exhaust???

Andy

The heatshield is mounted by screwing it on small nuts welded on the canister. A number of holes should be made on the heatshield and the distance between heatshield and canister could be decided by adding some washers between canister and nuts. Nuts and washers will be welded on the canister and the heatshield then screwed on those nuts. Pretty simple! ;)

Your instructions aren't very clear... you should get some pictures showing it mounted on a car. (Will help you sell better on Ebay too)

Hi Echidna

The finish looks good but what materials have you used.

I know a manufacturer that produced some Westfield ones but they had problems with the heat generated affecting the resin.

What is the maximum operating temp?

Hi guys, the installation is pretty straightforward and simple, i will upload some pictures as soon as i have a picture of one fitted to a car.

As about the materials, i have used 100% high quality carbon fiber fabric and high temperature resistant resin. This resin can withstand temperatures up to 150*C.

I know Carbonmods.co.uk had this initial problem with the temp.

Perhaps one of the boys can get some readings from under a heatshield with those sexy little protable thermometers that seem to be floating around?

I'll let you know more about the carbonmods product in the near future. As an aside, if anyone is looking for carbon bits and bobs, they have things like cycle wings etc and I think do "one offs".

Very helpful chaps.
