shouldnt have thought so, pinto to f or g at latest, doesnt the dohc have rear disks?

I found a "J" reg Sierra at the breakers last week,it had a Pinto,next week I plan to take the head off,as it should be an unleaded one.

The 2L pinto engine was replaced by the DOHC engine in 1989, after this the 1.8L pinto was relaced by the 1.8 CVH engine, then the pinto engine continued in the 1.6L form until it was replaced by the 1.6L CVH engine in 1991. So a J reg pinto is most likely to be a 1.6L.

I saw a J reg 1.8 pinto estate the other day at my local auction. It was one of the special editon ones so Ford was probably using up old parts.
