Hi chaps.

Coming to the end of my bike carb installation now and just wondering if I need a vernier cam pulley with megajolt?

I bought one off ebay last year and am now wondering if it's useless when using megajolt.

Also,on the original cam pulley there is a pointer to line up with a dot on the head for timing, this vernier pulley doesn't have a pointer so how do you line up the timing marks?

As you can tell,I have never used a vernier cam pulley before!

Cheers!

Steve.

Hi Steve.

The Megajolt controls the ignition timing.

The vernier pulley adjusts the cam timing.

They have nowt to do with each other.

If you are going to get the setup rolling roaded, I'd recommend fitting the pulley.

A good operator can find a good few horsepower by moving away from the factory setting.

To set it up roughly I'd suggest aligning the nothches in the new & old pulley (one on to p the other), & marking th new one where the mark is on the old one.

Otherwise I suggest you follow the instrucions on KENT's website

Bob
