looking for ideas as to how to connect throttle cable to 38 dgas, anyone got any piccys?

this is the bracket that you want.

I found that the linkage on the DFTH 30/34 also connected to the DGAS 38. However, I had to drill a couple of new mounting holes in the bracket (on the right hand side as viewed in Jim's picture) to get it to mount to the threaded holes in the older manifold.

The bracket of the 32/36 DGAV fits perfectly and this can be found on loads of sierras (scrap yard).

 

My 38 DGAS was a direct swap with the DGAV even the air filter fits.

Can you lads that have brackets that fit just undo them and get the part number off it, we'll then see if Uncle Henry still does them. (it's stamped on the side)

 

The part No of the one in my photo is 72EB9K711AB and is no longer on their records, never mind available!

A photo would be good, then I'll put it on our build tips.
