Gel Coat Colours

Hi Folks. Does someone tell me the best paint match (want to spray some mirrors) for the RH yellow gel coat on nose cone/cycle wings. Any help appreciated. Thanks. Ian H

Standard colours for gel coats are called RAL colours --- look it up in google, there is only about 90 in total so shoudn't be many yellows.

I would suggest that you go along to your local spray shop and they will be able to match it , they may even have a swatch for a quick identification , i have had the same problem with my yellow nose cone but i have still not found the right colour code it is near to Golden Yellow RAL 1004 though.

Believe it or not Halfrauds can match paint really well.

Take the car along and they can put a colour analysing gizmo on it and match the paint

and pretty reasonable ( well with a trade card )
