Why Are 2bs Only Fetching £3000 Ish

I'm a bit puzzled at what seems to be the current value of 2b,s etc they all seem to be around £3000 mark

Rather than spending all that time effort and money it would seem better to buy one that's on the road with all the Iva hassle done and refinish it to your own taste?

i,m thinking of this now to do a v8 / v6 conversion to rather than taking mine off the road..

£3 - £4k has always been the lower end for a 2B. It has always been cheaper to buy one OTR rather than build one but then you don’t get the pleasure of the build and this is IMHO one of the big things about owning a kit car. Most people get as much pleasure out of the build as they do from driving and there is always the thing about driving a car you have built yourself "priceless"
