Do you have to have a reversing light fitted for an IVA test?

 

My S7 does not have one, and i have been told i dont need one, but whats the real answer..

You didn't need one for the SVA but you do need one for the IVA (and you need a reverse gear, if you've got a motorbike engine)

Yes min of one max two, Max height 1200mm min height 250mm positioned anywhere across the rear of the vehicle see IVA book section 29 page 1

Sweet, another job on the list

 

I have two fog lamps on the back panel, i will keep the right side and get a clear lens or new unit for the left side.

 

The wiring loom should already have a wire for the light anyway, finding it should be easy
