Carbon Fibre Dashboard

Hi all,

 

I would like to remove the original standard dash from my 2b and replace it with a carbon dash or even carbon dash effect. Has anybody on here replaced their dash for a carbon one? Can you post pics

Yes I did something similar.

Bought a sheet of Carbon effect plastic from CBS (Approx £28 I think) and used some brushed stainless to contrast the dials/ carbon with.

Used Capri clocks which I cut up and re-mounted as shown. Pretty happy with the end results. Looks a Zillion times better than the old Sierra clock set up I put in place for SVA .

Carbon mods do both an aeroscreen

and a dash blank, they attend shows and seem very helpful.

Hi spoke to carbon mods some time ago, they can supply a diy kit to carbon coat (its the genuine stuff!) your existing dash. Theres a vid on there showing you how and its really quite good - http://www.carbonmods.co.uk/, regards.
