What Reg?

I know its early to ask but how many new parts (with receipts) do you need to get a new reg?

 

The donor parts I have are,

 

new front calipers,discs and pads

new rear cylinders,drums and shoes

new steering rack

reconditioned hubs all round with new bearings

reconditioned diff gear box and shafts

new engine

 

The parts which have not been replaced new or reconditioned are

 

steering column and switch gear.

steering rod

brake master cylinder

 

 

I have receipts for all new and reconditioned parts

 

Is it worth getting the steering and brake parts new or reconditioned or do ALL parts need to be new to get a new reg?

For a new registration, everything has to be new apart from one item which can be reconditioned. There's some more info here

Thanks for the quick responce and info, Just what I needed to know but couldnt find it.

 

I wont worry about sourcing the reat of the parts new then as too many parts have been reconditioned,
