Drive Shafts

In general no but.......

Generally drum braked cars have the push-in splined shafts and disc braked ones have the Lobro shaft which has a flange at each end with a bunch of bolts.

It is possible to make up a hybrid shaft with one of each end but you need a specific shaft diameter and the cars they came from are a bit rare (DOHC cars with drums and Diesels from memory).

There are also a few cars out there with lobro shafts on drum brakes. These are EXTREMELY rare. They use a stub axle that goes into the drum brakes which is the same as the end of a push-in shaft but has a lobro style flange on the rear so that the Lobro shaft will bolt on.
