Bearing Removal Result

whist preping my 3.65 diff and disc back end one of the hub bearings broke for once my bearing puller set did its job got the shell off the stub axle then the air chisel shifted the case out of the hub thought it was going to be a trip to the engineers to get them out

 

On other cars i,ve not been so lucky wonder if the low temps helped?

I ran a weld all the way round the bearing shell with the mig, first one i had to hit the weld to tap it out, the other virtually fell out!
