Please can anyone let me know if this is the right starter solenoid for a 1988 vintage Pinto (3 point fastening) Link

I have had a good look around and cannot confirm this is the right one though it looks similar to the one on the back of my CVH sierra starter motor.

 

If you are looking for a replacement then as long as the starter fits a Type 9 gerabox, then the are all relatively similar.

Nearly made a bid on this starter, but had a go at fixing the solenoid I had first, as the problem was a broken stud for the thin wire. Luckily I managed to fix a new stud and it is working!

The starter on the CVH engines whilst it fits and looks the same has a shorter nose and gear, so it bolts on but wont spin up a Pinto.
