Seat Belt Mounts

Hi,

 

Can anyone tell me if it is OK for SVA to attach the bottom harness fittings direct to the purpose-made mounts on the Recaro seats?

 

Seems a shame to have to drill new holes if the existing mounts will pass....

Hi Stu

This is the way i did it and passed okay Just make sure the seats are bolted down securly on the floor, i used 5-6 bolt in each seat and a flat plate accross the car which the rear bolt's picked up on as wellas the angle on the front hole's.

Hope this is clear

Ps the thread is a special in the seat's but i think the bolt's that come with the harness fit(7/16 unf i think)

The industry standard for seat belt bolts is 7/16ths UNF. Just to confirm.
