Maybe time for more rubber on back Dave... 205's on back ??? Bit dearer but may help put the power down . Used camskil before good company just need local fitter then so add another 10$ per tyre

It surprised me how many people kept asking questions about it, sometimes over period of a few days, one guy for weeks, (but were stupid ones, don't think I would have let him have it anyhow, 1 question, does boot lock, then is it central locking, !! and many more, then to say Im not ready to buy now, saving up for a house !!, and now same ones asking if its sold, and oh I wish!!!, well they had plenty of chances, as it sold via ebay within 24 hrs, so now what next,...........................................................

cant you still take it to a place of repair? which can be home if you do it yourself, ? or get a decent garage who will "bend" the rules slightly, of course you need to know them very well and they trust you to do it, I know of one such garage lol

The North west kit group (Facebook group) are having a run through the lights on Weds (30th sept) they are meeting at the Tickled Trout Just off M6 at Preston (bb52sb) I believe they are leaving at 7,30 and are happy for anyone to tag along, I know Dave Perry will be joining them, I have just read that the NW westifields are meeting at same spot and time, so it may be quite a convoy , but im working so wont be tagging along myself, Mitch

Hi All well due to doing around 500 miles in the last yr, (less than 10 in 2015) house move , new addition to family ,im seriously thinking to let car go, its a yellow 1,8 vvc engine libra, roof and boot have carbon wrap ( after slight accident with boot lid, professionally repaired I may add) green alcantara interior, will have 12 months mot , private plate not included, new number has been issued and it is a age related "j " plate, £4800 pics available, but will need to be sent by phone ( watsapp is ideal ) as home internet speed is abysmal no silly offers as next year I will have time to use and arrange a few meets, im not desperate to sell and will miss it, cars in chorley lancs, available to view, and test RIDE short distance, (no tax) Mitch

Hi Dave, yes the bottom of the tank has a swirl pot, and the tanks is baffled,,, obviously not enough for the flow, But to get the tank out would need the rear panel removing (and the arches) and chances of it coming off without kinking would be slim, so I think you need a extra swirl pot and LP pump, don't see why the pump for the carbs wouldn't work, as it does switch when pressure reached, good luck and the car looks well, and next time your passing that polishing stuffs here, I forgot on sat, and im still eating choc dougnuts lol Mitch
