2.0 Pinto Engine

I am looking for a 2.0 Pinto Engine to strip down and rebuild for my Exmo which I am collecting at the weekend.

 

If anyone has one lurking in their garage and lives in the lower part of the UK could you please let me know

i know this isnt ideal for you. but i have a 1.6 up for grabs if nobody gets to you with a 2.0

 

was gunna keep it just for spares but i think an engine conversion is on the cards this winter

Hi Steve, Many Thanks for the reply. As you suggest it isnt really what I was after but thanks anyway. I am looking for a 2.0 to get bored out to a 2.1 as and when funds permit. What engine are you thinking of changing to? I fancy a zetec but will have to placate wife and bank manager first!

zetec sounds like a good way to go. cost effective anyway.

 

saving has started for either a duratec or a cossie. not 100% yet, will have to wait for a decent engine to come up and decide then i think.

I'm doing a zetec swap this Sept/Oct time and will be selling my 2ltr pinto. It is absolutely sound, has the 205 block, and will have all the ancillaries, but I'll be looking at around £350 complete, also has a shortened sump and pickup! Has the twin choke 32/36 weber fitted.
