Anyone know of a friendly rolling road who know their DCOE from their DGAS? I am putting the hood back on the road and it needs setting up. I am in the West London / Middlesex area.

Cheers,

Boggie

Not in the london area but I just had my car set up by a mobile tuner. Did a fantstic job without the need for a rolling road. He came to the house, spent 1.5 hours on the car, went for a spin in it (I drove) to check it was set up ok and charged £55.

I would imagine that there would be a fair few tuners in your London. Don't bother with a local garrage as they don't tune cars day in day out the same as mobile tuners.

good luck

There used to be a great rolling road tuner in Barking, E. London called Torque Developments - did wonders with my old RS2000 with 45's etc (174 bhp). Might have gone by now though, it was a few years back........

Boggie,

If you're thinking of travelling that far, try SANSPEED in

Bexleyheath too. They're a family owned company been in

the tuning business for years.

Ask for Peter Sansom (the owner) or his son Graham

They are Weber agents,

they build & run their own rally cars,

and they have a rolling road.

They did a great job on my Hood (DGAS carb'd then)

& chipping my C5.

You've got a chipped Sinclair C5? Blimey, that's brave!

Steve

PS. The sad thing is that I really did think Sinclair not Citroen when I first read it!

Not as brave as the guy in the hairy Golf GTI who tried taking it on....& failed.

His face was a picture.

It may be a big ugly duckling, but 168 BHP

with FWD is real fun especially with traction control turned off.

I love street sleepers!!
