Coilover Mounts

Not got a photo, but they're made from two parts. One is a tube, about 6 or 8 inches long which fits into the bottom of the roll-over bar. The bottom of the tube has a U bracket welded to it - almost identical to the bottom bracket for the front coil-overs. The top of the coilover goes inside the U and a bolt goes through to hold it in place.

I didn't cut anything off. I adjusted the ride-height my moving the nuts on the dampers once I'd got the fuel tank in etc etc. The only problem with adjusting the nuts is that you move the bottoming out points on the coilovers relative to the normal load position. If bottoming out becomes a problem then you might have to trim the tube a bit, but it's accessable later if need be.
