Bike Fuel Pump

Hi guys, round 2 with the bike carbs

 

Got the bike carb now, zxr7 and have a few questions, again.

 

The pump has a plug lead with 2 pins. I am guessing this is live & earth?

 

The pump also has 2 outlets. Do I need to blank 1 off or bring 2 into 1. What is the best way to plumb it in?

 

Thanks for the help. Pictures showing installs would be nice.

hi steve,i mounted the pump next to fuel tank,one pipe from tank to pump,then pipe from pump to carbs.i also fitted an inline fuel filter.the inlet and outlet should be marked with arrows.on my fireblade pump,the earth is white and red is pos+.hth.

Are you saying your pump has one inlet and two outlets?

 

Usually the zxr pump just has 2 pipes on it with an arrow on one of them which indicates inlet and outlet, well at least mine did, lol.

Thanks guys. Was having a senior moment. After relooking at the pump I remembered 1 side needed connecting to the tank! I keep looking for things to be difficult. Thanks for the replies.
