Fuel Filler Fitting

Hi all. Another problem solved now the next one. How is fuel filler fitted? I have the flower like cutout in the rear of the car. I have a RH rectangular tank , rubber neck, 90 degree bend and filler cap. Are some of the tabs bent?

The filler pipe needs to enter the tank squarely, so you may have to do a bit of re-jigging to get it all lined up.

I remember that the opening in the rear panel was slightly too large for the aerocap, so I had to fabricate a ring to fit around the cap in order to cover the hole that was left exposed.

Or put your number plate over the daisy & have a much straighter pipe to filler cap on boot top;less likely to fill your boots with fuel due to blow-back.
