18th March, the date i have been dreading for about 3 weeks now. Lets get the important stuff out of the way first.

IT PASSED FIRST TIME!! :D

I got up at five o'clock on the morning before to do some last minut tinkering, and i even gave it a clean too. Set off about 10 on the thursday for a slow and steady drive to maidstone. All went quite well apart from for-getting to tighten the front wheel nuts. opps. Arived at the test centre at 12.30 half an hour early, it started at 1pm.

The guy was a nice chap but he did pic me up on a few points, but to his credit he gave me the chance to rectify them.

1. He would have liked to have seen bigger washers on the seat belt mounigs. - but he said it would be sufficient.

2. Sharp edges on the number plate braket. - Easy silicone sealant and a file

3. For got to tighten the fan belt. - Ouch what a noise, easily solved.

It wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, and i even had chance to enjoy the drive home. I have to get the windscreen fitted soon!!

All in all a very good day. The only advice i can give is "go for it," with your tool

box next to you

Here we go!
