Hi all

 

On the RHSC supplied head light there is no facility for the Blue/Green wire from Dim/Dip relay. What happens to it.

Brown - Earth

Grey/Red - sidelight

Blue/green - ?

Yellow - Dip

White - Full beam

Assuming that you are using the RH supplied headlight connector.

If you connect the blue/green to the black wire from the headlight connector and use the brown wire to only earth the sidelight bulb - the dim dip system should work.

Lindsay,

the blue /green wire is the earth for the main/dip bulb on the drivers side headlight.

The sidelight bulb is earthed seperately via the brown wire.

The passenger side headlight and side light share a common brown wire to earth.

This is what makes the dim dip work.
