Smith's Flight Tacho

As information on this is not readily available on the web, I thought I would post the results of my findings playing with the tacho at the weekend

The tacho comes with a couple of diodes and a resistor, but i'm not clear if how/where these need to be included in the loom. I expect the diodes are require for wiring the the indicator warning light and i've heard rumours that the resistor is required for the battery warning light. But nothing as yet confirmed.

Hope this helps.

Dave,

Apologies for the delay, I have some diagrams that will help you. Yes the diodes are required for the indicators as the tacho only has one warning light for both directions. I too believe that the resistor is required for the battery warning light.
