About To Fit Rear Coilovers..

Got myself my gaz coilovers,thanks to dave @dampertech. got my upper and lower mounts courtesy of kitspares

 

I got a good idea on how to takle this but does anyone have any advice before i attack it.

Best place to fit lower 'U' mount ,pics would be of great help.

I take it you are talking about the rears? If so then the upper mounts slide into the bottom of the roll tube and the the lower mounts go bang in the middle of the spring seat on the swinging arm so the the action of the coil overs is nearly vertical.

Fitted now. I had to fit them near the front of the spring seat . as the shocks that were fitted were on a mount that was cut out in the middle.

Work fine. Just need to tweak the ride height now.as i bottomed it out earlier. :rolleyes:

You will spend the next 12 months constantly adjusting the height and damping settings.

 

Then you will take a passenger and it will be all wrong again.
