Price Of Aluminum Sheet ?

Been searching around for aluminum sheet and eventually paid £68 delivered for 1,5mm x 2500mm x 1250mm does this sound reasonable? Cheapest i found locally..

i use my local scrap yard, the price of ally has gone through the roof

My wife is heavily into buying metals and this year the price of aluminium in the markets is down by 17.5% so can only think the increase in price is due to the converters/smelters/mills are coining it in with increased margins. Sounds all a bit like the price of a litre of petrol going up as crude oil prices fall.

Have you tried RnR aluminium stockholders on www.rnraluminium.co.uk tel 01964 501207 they are usually at all the shows with lots of off cuts etc
